J. Sam Industry (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the MixKo mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that helps us provide a secure and functional marketplace for music creators:

• Personal Data: Name, email address, phone number, country, profile picture, and bio details when you register.
• Financial Information: Bank account details, payout details, and transaction history related to your Creator Wallet. Financial processing is securely handled by our PCI-DSS compliant partner (Paystack); we do not store raw credit/debit card numbers on our servers.
• User Content: Chat messages, audio files, project descriptions, and gig applications sent directly through the app.
• Device & Usage Data: IP address, device ID, operating system version, and app usage logs to prevent fraud and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Create and maintain your creator/client profile.
• Facilitate the gig marketplace, chat connectivity, and matching services.
• Process financial transactions and payouts securely through your Creator Wallet.
• Protect against, detect, and prevent fraudulent transactions, spam, and illegal activities.
• Provide customer support and resolve disputes.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with:

• Other Users: Your public profile, gigs, reviews, and portfolio are visible to other members of the platform to facilitate collaboration.
• Third-Party Payment Processors: Financial details are shared securely with Paystack to process transactions and handle payouts.
• Legal Compliance: If required by Nigerian law or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

4. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including SSL encryption) to protect your personal and financial information. While we take every reasonable precaution, no digital transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.

5. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time. You can initiate this directly inside the app settings or by emailing support@jsamindustry.com.ng. Upon receiving a valid request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except for transaction records we are legally legally obligated to retain for tax and compliance purposes.
